According to a press release, Branson’s Parks & Recreation Department is taking registrations for fall co-ed Youth and PeeWee Soccer.
Youth leagues are available for boys and girls between five and 15-years old. Practices begin on Aug. 30. The press release states that teams “will practice once a week, with all games held on Saturdays” starting Sept. 18 and ending in late October. Individual as well as team entries are accepted. The deadline to register for the youth league is Aug. 24 of this year.
“An introductory PeeWee program is also offered for children who are three and four years old and will focus on teaching basic fundamentals and getting young players used to a team atmosphere.” PeeWee teams will have two Saturday practices beginning Sept. 11 “followed by six weeks of scrimmage games.” The deadline to register for the PeeWee program is Sept. 1.
More information on Branson soccer leagues, including team and individual fees, is on the Branson Parks & Recreation website. Registration is available online at www.bransonparksandrecreation.com/catalog or in person at the Branson RecPlex.
