The Reeds Spring Youth Football program received a $500 grant from USA Football. The money will be used to buy equipment, like team gear bags, mouthpieces, and linemen-split markers.
“This grant will help us keep down the cost for families,” said Youth Activities Director Trent Oxenreider. “We’re thankful for all of the support that USA Football provides, like safety training and coach certification.”
Reeds Spring was one of 34 programs in the Midwest to receive a grant. USA Football's grants program is based on merit and need for the upcoming season. Reeds Spring’s youth football program consists of flag football for students in grades K-2 and tackle football for grades 3-6.
