A tree falls into a house in Reeds Spring due to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the region Sunday night.
According to a post from the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, personnel from two stations worked over a half hour to get the occupants out of the home after the tree fell into their home.
Ozarks First reported on Monday that the home belongs to Reeds Spring Mayor Rob Chamberlin. Chamberlin, his wife, and a friend were in the house when the tree fell. Chamberlin suffered a neck injury in the incident. All three people were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson for their injuries.
Chamberlin tells Ozarks First he is thankful for the support the community has shown his family.
