A Lakes Area Mayor has decided to step down.
According to an Ozarks First Report, Reeds Spring Mayor Rob Chamberlin has resigned following a special city council meeting Thursday.
Chamberlin has served as the city’s mayor since 2022 and he served as an alderman before that.
The Mayor position is up for re-election in April.
No information on the reason for is resignation has been released.
