The Reeds Spring School District will break ground on its new career center on today at Noon at the new building location next to Reeds Spring High School.
Voters approved funding for the building by passing a no-tax-increase bond issue last April.
This new facility will replace Gibson Technical Center, which is nearly 50 years old. The new career center will be much larger, allowing more students to attend and additional programs to be added.
The career center serves 11 school districts throughout Stone, Taney, and Christian counties.
