Two area organizations are teaming up to celebrate and educate the public on recovery from addiction.
The Recovery Jamboree presented by Drug Free Ozarks and the Stone County Recovery Center takes place at the Sanctuary of Hope Church on Bee Creek Road in Branson. It is a free family event to celebrate those in recovery and their positive impact in the community according to two people involved in coordinating the event.
Marietta Hagan of Drug Free Ozarks and Tammy McLaughlin of the Stone County Recovery Center, during visits to Legends "The Upside" and MY 100.1 Morning Shows, said the education of what resources are available and the stories of those that are continuing to fight through addiction is a big focus of the event. Live music, family games, and more will be a part of the event.
