A recently formed group is hosting the first of a series of events to raise funds for those individuals and groups in need in the Lakes Region.
The founders of the group “Ozark Mountain Community Leaders” appeared on a recent edition of KRZK’s “Ozarks Now” program to discuss this weekend’s Christmas Extravaganza which takes place at the Event Center at Branson Meadows from 10 am-6 pm.
The event will feature many vendors and is a benefit for the family of area Realtor Kelsey Drochelman, who lost her husband to a sudden illness earlier this year.
The group also plans a Chili Cook-off in January that will benefit the Jr. Auxiliary of Taney County.
