Rebecca Capaldi Talks “That Geeky Con” with Around The Table

Rebecca Capaldi discussed That Geeky Con with Around the Table on KHOZ on Wednesday; she is putting the event on this weekend.

The event will take place at the convention center in Harrison’s Quality Inn located near Walmart and Jamie's Local Flavor on 1210 US 62/65 North.

The event goes Friday from 12 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $10 a person; kids five and under have free entry. There will be vendors present.

The first event happened in 2019 and this is the second event. Visitors can expect comics, toys and games. Participants are welcome to come in costumes. There will be a Cosplay contest. “I’ve always been kind of a geek,” Capaldi said. She said she thinks over 400 people attended the first event. She runs a store called That Geeky Shop.
