The recent pattern that has seen the Lakes Region experience a variety of spring weather will continue into the coming week.
Saturday was another day of periods of calm weather with storms popping up during the day. Most of the strong storms Saturday were in northern Arkansas with several counties being under Severe Thunderstorm Warnings during the afternoon. A report to the National Weather Service office in Little Rock noted an observation of hail accumulations of over an inch deep during one of the storms Saturday afternoon.
Most of the storms moving through the region today are not expected to be severe but some heavy rain could impact already high levels in area rivers, streams, and lakes.
Some sun is expected on Monday but a round of strong to severe thunderstorms are expected Monday night into Tuesday and again possible early Wednesday morning.
