After a day off from the rain for most, precipitation chances pick back up today as another front will bring another round of showers.
Most of the rain will move through the Lakes Region this morning with brief periods of heavy rain possible. Some scattered showers are possible this afternoon as the front finally moves through the area. Though thunderstorms are possible, no severe weather is expected.
While the National Weather Service is not ruling out the chance of some scattered showers over the weekend, most of the region will remain dry into Tuesday when the next system is expected to impact the Lakes Region.
