The rounds of rain that have moved through the Lakes Region has lowered the drought level for some parts of the area.
According to the latest map from the U.S. Drought Monitor, southern Missouri has seen the biggest impact with the rain as most of the area has dropped to a Moderate Drought Level with southeastern Taney County around Protem into western Ozark County is Abnormally Dry.
Drought has also dropped in northern Arkansas in Carroll County to a Moderate Level while areas generally south and east of Harrison remains at either a Severe or Extreme Level.
There is another chance of precipitation in the forecast for Sunday otherwise, most of the next week is expected to be dry.
