The National Weather Service also reports Flood Warnings for areas of the James River around Boaz and Galena where river levels are expected to rise just above Flood Stage over the next 24 hours causing some minor flooding.

Some highways are still closed in the region due to flood waters along with some secondary roads around the region.

The weather will warm quickly over the weekend with no rain in the forecast until the middle of next week.
