Motorist traveling through downtown Branson Friday afternoon experienced a temporary street closure.
According to a report posted by the Branson Police Department, a train suffered a minor derailment near Branson Landing.
The report indicated that the derailment happened at the Long Street Crossing near Branson Landing Blvd.
Branson Police followed up with an update after 3:00 that Long Street had reopened, but a report made to KOMA/KJFX in Joplin indicated that it took some time after that to return the car to the track.
No injuries were reported as a result of the derailment.
