The storm system that blanketed the Lakes Region with snow Tuesday and Wednesday continues to impact many people with power remaining out this morning.
Just over 5900 customers of the Carroll Electric Cooperative in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri remain without power this morning while over 13,000 North Arkansas Electric Coop customers remain without power. Entergy in Arkansas is still reporting several thousand customers without power. Most outages reported by Liberty and White River Valley Electric Coop in Missouri have been restored.
Officials in Arkansas say it could be the weekend before power is restored for some customers.
