Power restoration complete after Monday storms.
Wednesday saw the restoration of power to the remaining customers that had lost electricity after Monday’s storm knocked out power to several thousand customers in areas around Bradleyville, Brownbranch, and Rueter in eastern Taney County as well as parts of Christian, Douglas, and Ozark Counties.
Meanwhile, another round of rain is in the forecast for today and Friday and a brief break in the heat is coming with it. Currently the National Weather Service is calling for only a marginal chance of severe weather, but temperatures will drop from today’s forecast highs in the mid 90’s to the low 80’s on Friday. Hot temperatures are expected to return to the area before the end of the weekend.
