A "Dinner and a Drama" event takes place in Eureka Springs later this month that benefits the Good Shepherd Humane Society.
Gene Flake visited KHOZ's "Around the Table" to talk about the production of the Tony Award-winning play "And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little" which he will be directing. Flake says that he was a part of this play when he was a student at Idaho State University which he directed as a project. Flake said one of the members of the cast of the play was William Peterson, who later stared in the original CSI Series.
Flake said one of the items on his bucket list was to do this play again and is doing so as a fundraiser for the Good Shepherd Humane Society in Eureka Springs. Proceeds from the play will benefit their Fido Fixer Program which goes into rural areas to provide spaying and neutering services.
The play runs March 27-29 Upstairs at Grotto Wood-Fired Grill and Wine Cave. More information on the event and getting tickets can be found on the Good Shepherd Humane Society Facebook Page as well as from the complete interview on the Around the Table Facebook Page.
