Legislation designed to ensure parents have a say in their children's education is being considered in the Missouri Senate.
The legislation, which passed the Missouri House last session, would create a "Parents Bill of Rights" which would allow parents the opportunity to review the curriculum that is being taught and their children's school.
Some legislators are concerned that the bill as proposed would be constrictive and they have received feedback concerned on the intent of the law to attack education while proponents feel the transparency should be welcomed by both educators and parents.
