The Lakes Region has celebrated Veterans during the annual homecoming week with parades and other events taking place.
Among events today include the Navy Memorial Service and Medics Mini-Reunion at Westgate Resort in Branson along with a parade through downtown Harrison beginning at 5:00 this afternoon.
Saturday events include the Veterans Day Sunrise Service at College of the Ozarks at 7:00 am with Camp Jack in Harrison hosting a Pancake Breakfast during the morning.
The 90th Veterans Day Parade in Branson steps off at 11:00 am with the playing of TAPS and new this year, a flyover by a Stealth Bomber. Around 70 units will be a part of the parade according to organizers Mike Kremper and Bob Sarver.
Veterans Week activities wrap-up with the 27th Annual Military Gala and Banquet on Sunday evening at Chateau on the Lake.
