Ozarks Thaw Continues

As temperatures continue to get above freezing during the day, many area roads have benefited.

The temperatures combined with the work of road crews around the region have melted most of the snow and ice from the major roads as well as many secondary roads. Several less traveled roadways still have patchy spots of snow and ice, especially due to evening and overnight temperatures dipping below freezing.

Snow totals from the storm generally ranged from 6-10 inches with the highest amount reported was 13 inches in the Lead Hill area.

While most schools will be back in session today, some rural districts may still be closed or running limited bus routes. The updated list can be found under the Closing Tabs on our websites.
