A teacher with the Ozark School District is facing charges of inappropriate behavior with a student.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Richard Haney is facing a felony charge of sexual contact with a student and a misdemeanor count of supplying alcohol to a minor on Halloween of last year. The incident is alleged to have taken place at Haney’s home in Rogersville. According to the affidavit, Haney did serve the victim alcohol and did remove some of her clothing while giving her a massage. The statement said the victim refused Haney when he wanted to take off more of her clothing.
The Missouri State Technical Assistance Team along with the Rogersville Police Department investigated the incident.
