An Ozark County couple has been arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after a call to 911 for a possible hostage situation turned out to be a drug-induced hallucination.
According to the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, deputies dispatched to a residence in Tecumseh for a report of a possible hostage situation. Family members reported they received a text from the homeowners stating two males broke into their home and they were holding them at gunpoint. Eventually officers got the occupants, identified as Randy and Marsha Wilson out of the home with officers discovering the incident was a hallucination induced by methamphetamine use.
Both Randy and Marsha Wilson were arrested and booked into the Ozark County Detention Center.
