The City of Branson is hosting an event that will give citizens a chance to visit City Hall and potential become employed with the city.
Communications Manager Melody Pettit, during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, says the event, called "Fall in Love with the City of Branson" due to its closeness to Valentines Day, will be next Monday February 13 from 3:30 to 6:00 pm. Pettit says the event is designed to give citizens who have not been to City Hall in a while a chance to take a tour and meet city officials and personnel as well as an opportunity for people seeking employment to explore that opportunity with the city. Pettit says that many departments have openings with jobs starting at $16.46 per hour.
