One person sustains serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Ridgedale Friday afternoon.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 65 failed to stop for a red traffic light and crashed into a vehicle entering the intersection with Highway 86. The driver of the vehicle, not named in the report, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment while a passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was not reported as injured.
