A man had died and a woman injured in a traffic crash earlier this week.
According to the report released from the Arkansas State Police, a vehicle driven by 93-year-old James Doyle Fox of McAllen, Texas collided with another vehicle when he attempted to merge onto Highway 65 from Highway 62/412 north of Harrison in rainy conditions Tuesday afternoon. The collision with Fox's vehicle caused the second vehicle to hit a third vehicle.
Fox died as a result of the crash while a passenger in his vehicle, 91-year-old Beverly Arlen Oby of Minnesota, was injured and taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. No injuries were reported in the other vehicles.
