CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Mo. — The mayors of Nixa and Ozark are teaming up with Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) to host the Mayors Challenge Blood Drive on Thursday, September 25.
This is the sixth year they have done this challenge to help with low donations. The city with the most donations will take home the traveling trophy. Last year, Nixa took home the trophy.
Donors will receive a voucher for two free admissions to Dickerson Park Zoo along with a zoo-themed T-shirt, a package valued at $38. Zoo passes will be valid through July 31, 2025. All donors will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $100 Signal Food Store gift card. One winner will be selected from donors at each donation center.
