Some streets will be closed during Nixa Sucker Days; the post from the City of Nixa Facebook Page can be read below.
This weekend is the 64th Annual Nixa Sucker Days, Music, Arts and Craft Festival in Downtown Nixa. The following streets will be closed to accommodate the festival.
- Wednesday May 18 (Today): City Parking Lot on Main St in Downtown Nixa Closes at 5pm Wednesday until Monday at noon, or as soon as the tent and stage can be removed.
- Thursday May 19: Starting at 5pm Thursday, Main Street from Elm to Rt. 14 will be closed to all traffic.
- Friday-Sunday May 20-22: Starting at 6am Friday, Main Street from South St. to Rt. 14 will be closed to all traffic until 8pm on Sunday evening, or until the event is completely removed from the roadway.
Note: Parts of South Street, Water Street and Gene Streets will be occupied with heavy traffic on Friday morning between 7a-12pm to allow for all vendors to set up.
