Police Officials in Nixa are searching for a driver that is believed to be involved in an accident that injured a bicyclist.
According to a press release from the department recapped by Ozarks First, the bicyclist was crossing Scott Wayne Drive when witnesses report he was it by a blue minivan. The driver of the van along with another individual did stop to help the bicyclist home but the driver left the scene before first responders arrived.
The Nixa Police Department is investigating the incident and is asking for the public's help in locating the van driver, believed to be a white man with dark hair between the age of 17 and 20 years old.
