NIXA, Mo. — City leaders broke ground Tuesday on a new police station that officials say will improve public safety in the growing community.
The new facility, located on North Leeann Drive, was made possible by a voter-approved sales tax increase in 2023.
The project is estimated to cost around $15 million dollars.
“This new facility represents our shared commitment to the men and women who serve us every single day and protect all of us,” city officials said during the ceremony.
