The 112th Recruit Graduating Class for the Missouri State Highway Patrol includes some troopers heading to the Lakes Region.
Christopher Schmidt from Rogersville is one of the graduates who will work in Troop D in Stone and Taney Counties along with Marissa Harris. In addition, Scott Walden has been assigned to work in Barry County.
Meanwhile several other recruit graduates from southwest Missouri will be working in different parts of the state. They include Layne Coleman of Ozark who has been assigned to Troop C in St. Charles County while Kyle Hogan of Gainesville has been assigned to Troop E in the Cape Girardeau area.
According to a release from the Missouri Highway Patrol, the graduation ceremony is Wednesday January 15 at the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City with Governor Mike Parson delivering the keynote address. The ceremony will also be streamed live on the Missouri Highway Patrol's Facebook Page.
