The project to complete the Highway 65 expansion in Ozark reaches a milestone with the opening of the new lanes.
According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, the new lanes between Highway CC and Highway 14/Jackson Street opened on Friday following the opening of the lanes the previous week between Highway 14 and Highway F.
The completion of this project now has Highway 65 six lanes from I-44 in Springfield through Highway F in Ozark.
MODOT says in the release that contractor crews will work on striping and finishing clean-up of the work zone, weather permitting.
The entire project is expected to be completed in November.
