The Boys and Girls Club of the Ozarks will add to their current locations in Branson, Forsyth, and Reeds Spring next year with the addition of a unit in Crane.
According to a press release from the club, the unit will be located at the Crane Elementary School. A ribbon cutting was held their last week in conjunction with the announcement.
The club will serve families whose children are ages 6-12 and support working parents in the community according to the release.
Stoney Hays, CEO for Boys and Girls Club of the Ozarks, tells Ozarks Dynacom that a member of the Crane Community, Leasa Brosseau, had inquired to the national organization a couple of years ago about starting a club in that area. Hays says that while the COVID-19 Pandemic slowed the progress, discussions continued until the Crane Elementary Site was agreed upon.
Hays says the club is schedule to open next January and will be open Monday-Friday.
More information is included with the release posted on the Crane Elementary Facebook Page.
