A total of three swim beaches are now closed on Table Rock Lake due to high E. Coli levels.
According to the release from the Little Rock District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the swim beaches at Cape Fair and Big M showed high levels of E.coli during recent testing. Earlier this spring, the swim beach at Aunts Creek was shutdown for the same reason.
Signs have been posted at all three location indicating the high bacteria levels present.
Retesting of all three locations is scheduled for next week and officials say the beaches will reopen as soon as the bacteria levels return to normal.
