Though Blood Drives have been completed this week in Harrison and Hollister, more opportunities to give are available in the region over the next few weeks including two this week.
The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will have drives on Friday at Scott Regional Technical Center in the morning and at St. Francis Catholic Church in Nixa in the afternoon. A blood drive is also scheduled next week on Thursday at Eureka Springs High School.
Communities hosting blood drives in October include Ava, Branson, Cassville, Green Forest, Holiday Island, Hurley, Kimberling City, Nixa, and Ozark.
The drives are needed to get the Blood Banks back to higher level due to the recent surge in demand according to the CBCO.
