A meeting to discuss and upcoming Highway Project takes place next week.
According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, the $2.1 million project is expected to start later this year and would construct a roundabout at the intersection of Highways 13, 160, 248, and Dogwood Tree Road near Reeds Spring Jct. MODOT says nearly 12,000 vehicles use that intersection on a daily basis. MODAT also states in the release that new roundabout will help with safety and traffic flow for motorists.
The meeting will discuss the traffic impacts during construction of the project that will convert the current intersection into a roundabout.
The come-and-go-style meeting takes place Monday July 29 at Reeds Spring High School from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.
More information on the project can be found on the MODOT Website.
