The annual Statewide Tornado Drill takes place this morning at 10:00.
Due to confusion last year over the alert being confused for an actual emergency, this year the National Weather Service will issue a weekly test on NOAA Weather Radios to trigger the test for those businesses and organizations taking part. Many communities will also be testing their Storm Warning Sirens during the test.
Today’'s Tornado Drill is part of Severe Weather Awareness Week in Missouri.
