The primary campaign is in the homestretch in Missouri with eight days remaining until Election Day.
Next Tuesday, August 6th, voters in Missouri will go to the polls to determine their choices for the respective political party nominations for the November General Election. For most county positions in Stone and Taney Counties, the election will determine the office holder beginning next year as most Republican Candidates will not face Democratic Opposition in November.
In addition, voters in Stone County will determine the first members of the Stone County Ambulance District Board that was formed after a ballot issue creating the district passed in April while voters in Rockaway Beach will vote on a Use Tax Proposal.
Absentee voting for those not able to vote on the sixth remains available at County Clerk’s Offices through next Monday.
