The Missouri House of Representatives has rejected the version of a new Congressional Map the Senate passed late last week.
The House had passed their version several weeks ago, but the Senate went through a long debate process which included several filibusters.
Most of the disputed areas of the map are in areas around Kansas City and St. Louis but both maps do change the layout of the 7th District in Southwest Missouri.
Most of Taney County will move over to the 8th District while Branson and other areas of western Taney County will remain in the 7th District with Stone County.
The issue is expected to go to a Conference Committee with members of both the House and Senate to try and resolve the issue.
