A woman from Stone County that sold children’s clothing has an injunction filed against her business by Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey.
According to court documents, Hannah Elizabeth Bowlby of Galena sold children’s clothing made of bamboo through her business “The Cozy Pony” but failed to deliver the many of the purchased items to her customers, a violation of the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act.
The petition filed with the court earlier this week indicated that in April through September of 2024, Bowlby began not delivering products that were ordered online and not offering refunds to many of those customers. The Missouri Secretary of State’s Office dissolved the business for failure to file a registration report required by law.
Bowlby has 30 days to respond to the charges in the injunction which is seeking to prohibit her from operating a business in Missouri.
