The first boating accident of the year is reported on an area lake this week.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Lake Taneycomo Wednesday afternoon when a juvenile female from Oklahoma was riding on a tube and got her hand caught in the handle of the tube while falling off.
Only minor injuries were reported with the girl taken to an Urgent Care for treatment of her injuries.
