Hunters who harvest Deer but does not need or want the meat can take it to Oldfield Packing south of Sparta in Christian Country. It will be processed then delivered by Conservation Agents to pantries in the area.

The Archery Deer Hunting Season will continue until January 15 while the Alternative Methods Season will take place beginning Christmas Day and going through January 4.
