While there is a break in major activities during the end of Deer Season and the Opening of Trout Season, the Missouri Department of Conservation reminds people that there are still seasons open.
During this week's edition of the Missouri Department of Conservation Podcast, Stone County Agent Kearby Bridges mentioned that Squirrel Hunting season continues until February 15 as does the Gigging Season. Bridges reminds people to have the proper permits as well as keep in mind which types of fish can be caught by gigging.
Bridges also talked about the improving conditions for fishing on area lakes as well as keeping up with the upcoming events through the Missouri Department of Conservation Website.
