While the weather change may not be good for those who like to walk and enjoy the outdoors, those that are hunting and fishing may have more success due to the temperature change.
Chris Boyd, Taney County Agent for the Missouri Department of Conservation, talks about that on the latest edition of the Missouri Department of Conservation Podcast. Boyd says that wildlife and fish will be on the move, which makes hunters taking part in the Deer and Water Fowl season possibly have more success.
Boyd does remind people that if they are hunting and fishing, it is important to take all cold weather precautions one's location known to family and/or friends in case of emergencies.
