The Turkey Hunting Season in Missouri gets underway on Monday.
Chris Boyd, one of the Taney County Agents for the Missouri Department of Conservation, says during the latest edition of the MDC Podcast that the season will go until May 8 and will go from 30 minutes before sunrise until 1:00 each day. Boyd also encourages hunters to take all safety precautions, especially with many hunters wearing camouflage.
Boyd also talks about some of the issues with flooding in the region plus the improving fishing conditions in the region.
