This week's edition of the Missouri Department of Conservation Podcast features information about upcoming Fishing Seasons.
Dan Akin, Stone County Agent for the MDC, reminded anglers that the Catch and Keep Trout Season opener is Tuesday at Roaring River State Park near Cassville and to make sure and update all permits prior to the opener. All current permits expire on Monday.
Akin also reminded anglers about the Paddle Fish Season that opens later in March and some of the top spots to catch the fish in Stone County, especially around the Cape Fair area.
