The City of Branson is proclaimed the "Most Patriotic City in America."
The proclamation was read by Branson Mayor Larry Milton during the Morning Shows Thursday on Legends 1063 and MY 100.1 as part of the lead-up to the beginning of Veterans Homecoming on Saturday. Joining Milton in the studio from Branson Veterans of America 913 was Bob Sarver, who is in his last year of coordinating the annual Veterans Day Parade and Mike Kremper who will take over the parade next year.
During the interview, Sarver says there will be around 70 units in this year's parade and also talked about this year's Veterans Homecoming Opening Ceremony Saturday at the Lodges of Timber Ridge (formerly the Welk Resort) which will feature a speech by College of the Ozarks Chancellor Dr. Jerry Davis.
