A member appointed to represent Branson on the Tourism Community Enhancement District Board has now been removed from that board.
The Branson Board of Aldermen voted to remove Cindy Merry from the TCED Board on Tuesday at a Special Meeting. The motion to remove was made by Alderman Marshall Howden and seconded by Ralph LeBlanc. Alderman Clay Cooper voted with Howden and LeBlanc to remove while Ruth Denham, Glenn Schulz and Artie Lucas voted against removal. Branson Mayor Larry Milton broke the tie in favor of the motion to remove.
Prior to the vote, Merry took time to speak highlighting many of her accomplishments and history in the city. Several other members of the audience spoke, mostly on her behalf.
