May Busy Month in Nixa

A couple of big events will be highlighted in the City of Nixa during the month of May.

President and CEO of the Nixa Chamber of Commerce Chris Russell discussed the events during a visit to KRZK's "Ozarks Now" on Monday. Russell said this week kicks off the big month with the City-Wide Garage Sale this Thursday through Saturday. According to Russell, many residents have registered their Garage Sales to be a part of the event and the Chamber's Experience Nixa App includes a map to all of the participating sales.

Meanwhile, later this month the 64th Annual Sucker Days Music, Arts, and Craft Festival takes place in the downtown area. Besides the tradition events including vendors highlighting Sucker Fish and Carnival Rides, new additions this year according to Russell include a Sucker Mania Pro Wrestling Event and a Renaissance Fair.
