A day of potential record high temperatures will be followed by a chance of some strong to severe thunderstorms overnight into Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, areas north of the Missouri/ Arkansas Boarder are more likely to see some severe storms but the risk is marginal. Instability levels are lower in northern Arkansas where forecasters severe storms are less likely according to forecasters.
Temperatures will cool but remain in the 60s for highs for the remainder of the week.
