The Mansion Theater for the Performing Arts hosts a pair of free shows this week for the recording of a television special.
Mansion Entertainment General Manager Larry Wilhite, interviewed on Monday's "Ozarks Now" program says the performances of "An Ozark Mountain Symphony" highlights several different types of acts with a wide musical range all backed by the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. Wilhite says the two performances will be edited into one special that will air later this year on Ozarks Public Television then be made available to PBS affiliates nationwide.
While the show is free, reservations are needed for seating purposes and can be made by calling 417-335-2000 or by visiting the Mansion Theater Website.
