A man with an active warrant from Taney County is arrested in south central Missouri.
According to a post from the Howell County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, last week a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Jason Wanagel of Caufield. Wanagel was found to have a substance believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Wanagel has had several run-ins with law enforcement over the years and had an active warrant from Taney County for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to appear. Wanagel is in the Taney County Jail pending the posting of a $50,000 Bond.
